This project was a $25 million, 10,220 m2 renovation, which began with a complete facility review and audit to determine the condition, capacity, and suitability of existing mechanical and electrical systems for the future use of the facility. The complete renovation of the nearly 100-year-old building was completed in four phases while the building remained occupied. The extensive renovation included classrooms, wet and dry labs, several specialized research suites, and a manifolded fume exhaust system with heat recovery. The project was completed in 2013.
